AN EXTRAORDINARY EXPEDITION TO THE SAHARA.
The great objective of this expedition is to cross Algeria, until reaching the Algerian Great South. To do this you will have to cross large desert areas and the country’s paradises with their Tassilis.
A different trip where our 4×4 will be the ideal way to see and learn about our most remote past, which will remain engraved in the memory and spirit as an incredible life experience.
Our objective is in the South of Algeria, where we will arrive at Djanet, known as the «pearl of Tassili», then we will visit the Tadrart region, a natural continuation of Libya.
Abundant vestiges of the Neolithic in the form of paintings and ceramic remains will show us how rich in life the Sahara was 10,000 years ago, now only a few Gueltas or small water points remain, hidden under the protection of the rocks and mountains that feed a flora and fauna that have known how to survive in these extreme conditions. UNESCO declared the two Tassilis a World Heritage Site of Humanity in 1982 and a Biosphere Reserve in 1986. Many extraordinary surprises will await us in this 2024 expedition to Algeria.
