Territori4x4’s next adventure: March 20 – April 3, 2027
Discover Mauritania by 4×4 with Territori4x4’s Raid Sahel, an authentic expedition through the Sahara Desert designed for lovers of adventure, off-road driving and the vast landscapes of West Africa. Over approximately 14 days, we will cover thousands of kilometres across dunes, desert tracks, mountains and spectacular landscapes, discovering some of the most surprising and little-known corners of Mauritania.
Our adventure will take us to impressive places such as Ben Amira, one of the world’s largest monoliths; Atar, the gateway to the Mauritanian desert; and the historic caravan cities of Ouadane and Chinguetti, designated UNESCO World Heritage Sites. We will also discover the extraordinary Guelb er Richat, known as the Eye of the Sahara, a gigantic geological formation that is one of the African continent’s most distinctive landscapes.
During this 4×4 expedition through Mauritania, we will enjoy driving across dunes, rivers of sand, tracks and mountain passes, exploring special places such as Ghallouiya, the oases of Terjit and Mhaireth and the spectacular Tifoujar Pass. We will experience the true essence of the Sahara with camping deep in the desert and nights under the stars, surrounded by nature, silence and endless landscapes. Our adventure will also take us to Banc d’Arguin National Park, where the desert meets the Atlantic Ocean.
The Mauritania 4×4 Trip – Raid Sahel is much more than a holiday: it is a unique experience for those seeking adventure, nature, culture and off-road driving far from conventional tourist routes.
