Territori4x4’s next adventure: February 6–21, 2027
Algeria is an emerging destination for off-road and desert adventure enthusiasts. The country is beginning to open its doors to tourism with the calm and hospitality that characterise its people, far from conventional tourist routes. We will discover some of the best-kept treasures of the Algerian Sahara, a wild and authentic environment, without luxury or pretension, but with the grandeur of one of the most spectacular deserts in the world.
Our 4×4 route will take us to the Great South of Algeria, crossing vast stretches of desert, unique landscapes and the impressive Tassili mountains, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. On this off-road route, following the spirit of the great explorations of the 20th century, you will discover cave paintings, petroglyphs and Neolithic remains that reveal a Sahara which, thousands of years ago, was fertile and full of life.
The 4×4 adventure will take us to Djanet, the “pearl of the Tassili”, and from there to the Tadrart region, with its most spectacular off-road scenery between Ali Demna and Tin Merzouga. We will explore hidden gueltas among rock formations, natural arches sculpted by the wind and oases where life withstands the extreme harshness of the desert environment.
Enjoy a unique and transformative experience, where your 4×4 becomes your best ally in discovering an authentic, untamed Sahara. Get ready for an unforgettable off-road adventure. Algeria and its desert are waiting for you!
